Meet Our Doctor

I am so lucky to be able to go to work day every day and do something that I love. There is nothing more satisfying than to see my patients’ personalities and confidence transform as they progress through treatment. Each day, I focus on providing my patients with kind, compassionate, and high-quality orthodontic care. It is so exciting to combine art, technology, and science to help patients achieve all their smile goals.

As a former patient of this practice, I know first-hand what an amazing group of people work here. My team is friendly, welcoming, and takes the time to explain treatment details to patients so they feel comfortable and at ease.

Education and Continuing Education:
Bachelor of Science, biology – Ashland University
Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Case Western Reserve University
Orthodontic certificate – University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health

Continuing education is vital to the practice of orthodontics, because technology is constantly changing and techniques are steadily improving. In order to keep current with the latest advancements, I am a member of three study groups: the Super Schulman Study Group, a national group of orthodontists who share information daily via email; the EICO study club, a regional group of orthodontists who meet each month to discuss topics related to orthodontics; and the Comprehensive Dental Excellence Forum, a local group of dentists and dental specialists who discuss a variety of dental and orthodontic topics.

Professional Affiliations:
American Association of Orthodontists
Cleveland Society of Orthodontists

Outside the Office:
I feel so fortunate to be able to practice orthodontics in my hometown. The people in this area are like no other! Many of my evenings involve attending dental and civic meetings. However, I remain involved in the community because I enjoy making a difference in the lives of others and I believe the future of Stark County is bright! Whenever I do have free time, I love to spend it with family and friends.

My husband Aaron and I have a dog named Ralphie, who keeps us on our toes! We also play on recreational sports teams and try to meet up with friends to go biking as often as we can.

Meet Our Staff

Treatment Coordinator

As treatment coordinator, I greet and introduce all new patients into our office. While I enjoy working with patients of all ages, my favorite thing to do is see a child grow up into a young adult with a beautiful smile. If a patient is not quite ready for treatment, I assist the orthodontist in keeping an eye on him or her until the person is ready for treatment. I have been with the practice since 1990 and previously worked in the office as the clinical supervisor for 23 years. We are a family-first practice, so we truly understand the importance of compassion, trust, and care.

My husband Jimmie and I have three children: Tyler, Ashley, and Nikki. We also have a dog named Dakota. We enjoy spending time outdoors in the nice weather and watching most sports, especially motocross. I am also an avid scrapbooker.

Scheduling Coordinator

I have worked at our front desk scheduling our patients’ appointments since 2003. Because I get to see so many of our patients come in and out of the office, I also get to know them really well. I love watching them grow throughout their treatment and seeing their beautiful smiles at the end. I also enjoy working with all the great people in our office; we have a lot of fun working together as a team!

My husband Bill and I have four grown children between us: Ryanne and her husband Nick, Eric, Bruce, and Scotty. We also have six grandchildren: Baylee, Roman, Hudson, Brooklynn, Keegan, and Chase. Our free time is spent enjoying our growing family.

Treatment Coordinator / Marketing Director

Every day, I come to work and have a part in making so many people happy. I have been with this practice since 1979. Not only do I help our new patients get set up with their treatment, but I also communicate with referring dental offices and market our wonderful practice to the community. I’ve had the opportunity to work here for more than 30 years, and each year seems to be better than the last.

I have two boys: Trey attends Ohio State and Jacob received his Eagle Scout and is a student at the University of Oregon. In my spare time I enjoy the boys’ activities, reading, and going out to dinner with friends.

Clinical Supervisor / Certified Orthodontic Assistant / Records Technician

I have assisted our doctors since 2006 with many aspects of patient care, in addition to taking the X-rays and impressions needed to create treatment plans. I enjoy working together and being a part of this team to help patients achieve their smile goals. Every day brings new and exciting challenges, and I meet them all with a smile!

I live in North Canton with my two amazing children. I enjoy traveling, outdoor activities, and spending my free time with my family and friends.

Certified Orthodontic Assistant / Lab Technician

I run our in-house lab, which makes all of our patients’ orthodontic appliances, and have done so since joining the practice in 2000. I have worked in orthodontics for 30 years but have never felt more at home than I feel here. My coworkers are like my second family.

I am a true animal lover! I have cats that I rescued, and often refer to them as my kids. I enjoy walking and hiking, reading, and spending time with family.

Certified Orthodontic Assistant / Record Technician

I have worked for Morgan, Bernard & Associates since 1991. I help our patients receive great smiles by taking X-rays, photos, scans, and impressions. I also offer oral hygiene instructions on how to care for their braces. I love meeting all of our new patients and getting to know them and their families. It’s a lot of fun seeing how much they have changed during their treatment and how excited they are when they get their braces off.

I am married and live in Massillon with my husband Steve. We have three children: Dylan, Stevie, and Josie. We enjoy going to sporting events, gardening, and spending time as a family.
